Joost is nearing release day
Dave
Joost (formerly named The Venice Project) is nearing its big day. They just posted a blog entry about it. If you haven’t signed up for an invite then you should because even at public launch they’re still going to keep it invite only. The other thing that they said was very important in the last sentence.
As we’re still rolling out servers across the globe, as not all fiber has been lit - we will contain things a bit - so expect us to run in an invitation style mode (where each beta tester gets some invites to give away; letting us grow exponentially yet controlled) for a little longer.
So if you have not signed up - this is a good time, as we may just close signup on the day of release.
So get to signing up. If you want invite then leave a comment in this post. I have one more left to give away. If you don’t know what Joost is then check these links out:

Bringing TV to the Web - TIME
I’ve been using Joost for a couple of months now and absolutely love the interface and what the startup is trying to accomplish as far as bringing TV to the internet. The only downfall to the service is programming selection. It really stinks. They’ve recently signed many deals with major providers so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Again, if you want an invite.. leave a comment.
