It’s been quite an interesting year with life and news in general. Hopefully next year is even better. I’m traveling this year on Christmas and will be back to beautiful San Dog right before New Year’s. I have to dust off the luggage and do a little laundry before going. So to all my family and friends out there … Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’s if I don’t talk to you before then.
I’ll now turn it over to the site hostesses:
P.S. In case anyone gets bored over the holidays…. Try out some of these addicting games — Reindeer Tipping — Winter Bells. Have fun!!

I blogged about this earlier so this is just an update post.
While not being very fond of police officers… I do like the cops in San Diego. They don’t seem to not F with you as much as cops in other parts of the country. I’ve lived everywhere from Texas, to Norfolk, to Maine, and now here… and I’m pretty fond of the guys in blue San Diego. Damn, this pisses me off.
Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Was Retired Policeman
The identity of a motorcyclist killed Thursday in a crash on Otay Lakes Road has been released.
The victim was identified as retired San Diego police Officer Sgt. Robert Gregorio.
An 18-year-old driver crashed into Gregorio’s motorcycle Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Border patrol agents began chasing the 18-year-old motorist after receiving a tip of illegal immigrant activity in the area, NBC7/39 reported.
Agents had pulled off the chase shortly before the accident.
The driver did not have a valid driver’s license, police said.
My heart goes out to the family members….

The more I read about stories as this the more pissed off I get. For one, car drivers thinking they own the whole road and crossing the lane dividers. This one killed a fellow motorcyclist. Two, the San Diego PD are still trying to figure out if he’s a U.S. citizen.
So now if they find out he’s not a U.S. citizen then he’ll get deported back to (more than likely) Mexico and eventually released with minor charges from the Mexican government. Now I have no proof because the article doesn’t state what nationality the car driver was (even though the educational ID from Mexico gives it away) but it still pisses me off because we get this kind of crap all the time in San Diego.

Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting Car
According to the California Highway Patrol, an 18-year-old male was driving a Ford Taurus southbound on Otay Lakes Road when he struck the motorcyclist. Investigators said the teen crossed the double yellow line at a turn and overcorrected, striking and killing the motorcyclist who was coming in the opposite way.
Officials are investigating to determine if the driver is a U.S. citizen.
“His only form of identification he had on him was a photo ID and an educational ID from Mexico,” said CHP spokesman Brian Pennings. “He gave us a Los Angeles address, though.”
The car’s driver suffered minor injuries and will face numerous charges, said officials.

I can’t believe out of no where it rained this morning in San Diego. No heads up from the weather forecasters… as always. So I commenced to reading my RSS feeds in Greader and came across a damn funny 911 call. From there I was hooked.
So I’m not sure which ones are fake or real but I don’t really care. Anyways, it cheered my morning up none-the-less.
